What’s up everyone! Welcome to Makeup by MommaGee!

Most of you may be following me from youtube.com or glameriffic.com.  For all my new bloggers, I am Angee, better known as MommaGee. I am happily married to my hubby Jason of 5 years and a mommy of 2 handsome little boys, Nate and Kingston. I was a Mommy to the best doggie ever, but he recently passed away. RIP GOLIATH. MOMMY LOVES YOU.

I graduated with my AA degree in Liberal Arts in the summer of 2009. I plan on continuing my education after both of my kids start school. Besides doing makeup, I want to be an elementary school teacher. I enjoy being a Stay at Home Mom right now. I’ve only got a couple years left before my babies are off to school. I’ve been doing makeup on the side since 2008 and I am a self taught makeup artist thanks to YouTube.

Back in 2007 I started posting FOTD’s (Face of the day) and EOTD’s (Eyes of the day) in Kasey’s (StillGlamorus) Myspace Makeup group:

It was there where I discovered awesome makeup artists like Lauren aka QueenofBlending and Jodi aka Monroe Misfit Makeup. I had never seen anyone use colors the way they did. I was always just an eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss girl. They inspired me to try color out. I then started watching Pursebuzz, Xsparkage, Fafinettex3, and other awesome YouTube gurus on YouTube. After a year of experimenting and practicing on myself I decided to grow some cojones and I started making videos the summer of 2008 and haven’t stopped making them since. I put a lot of love and energy into all the tutorials and reviews that I make and I truly have the best subbies ever. I try my very best on getting back to everyone. Thanks to you all I’ve had some awesome opportunities:

-Was named as “Earthen Glow’s Beauty of the Month” in December 2008

-Got to work with some awesome sponsors throughout the entire 2009 year

-Made 2 Radio Appearances on Nikkie20six’s “Keepin it Fierce” radio show on wallofstyles.com; October and December of 2009

-TyraBanks.com asked for me to recreate one of my hair tutorials; planned to be released on the tyrabanks.com website sometime in January-February 2010

-Became a spokesperson for Bitch Slap Cosmetics in November 2009

Not only have I gotten these cool opportunities, and not only have I joined awesome makeup communities on youtube and glameriffic, but I’ve also met so many cool people. I appreciate you all. I hope that you all continue to follow me on my journey, whether it be about my makeup, hair, weight blogging,  family, or just life in general. And I hope that I continue to inspire you all.
