Today I got my sister and her friend to work out with me! Whoo hoo!!! Though tonight’s workout was tough, we all had a good time and they’re looking forward to tomorrow’s workout. Before I get into the workout details, let’s talk about food. Growing up my dad always had my brother and I clean off our plates clean. And when I say clean, I mean CLEAN. When we didn’t want to eat anymore he always gave the speech “Do you know how many kids out in other countries are starving? They don’t have food like you do so you better finish everything on your plate” When I was prego with Nate there were times where I couldn’t finish all the food on my plate and the doctor said that was completely fine and that is how I “should” be eating. So I had to teach myself to eat to the point where I was satisfied and not hella full. So remember everyone, you do not have to eat EVERYTHING off of your plate. Eat to the point where you are satisfied and not full to the point where you can’t move and want to go to sleep. lol.
WHAT I ATE TODAY:
BREAKFAST: 2 Scrambled Eggs with a whole diced tomato and white onion, 1 Whole Grain Sandwich Thin, 1/3 cup of left over steak & onions from the night before, 1 glass of water *I ate to the point where I felt satisfied and not full. I didn’t finish my plate.
SNACK: 1 yogurt, hand full of pecans, 1 glass of water
LUNCH: Skipped lunch because I was out with the kids
SNACK: Couple spoon fulls of chocolate ice cream from Coldstone
DINNER: Lettuce Burger from Juicy Burger with everything on it, hand full of fries, and a hand full of pepperchinis, 1 glass of water
So like I said earlier, my sister and her friend worked out with me today. Working out is a whole lot funner when you have a good support group doing it with you. I’m not relying on them to complete this program, because I will continue doing it the days they aren’t here with me, but it was nice for us to keep pushing and encouraging one another. So if you all have family members or friends who are down to join whatever program you are on, keep encouraging one another and push one another so you do meet your goals!
TODAY’S WORKOUT:
P90x’s Cardio X dvd – 43 minutes long
This dvd started out with a warm up like all the dvds do. This warmup consisted of a couple of stretches and then repetitive yoga moves. I personally love yoga so for those of you who do too, you’ll enjoy the warm up. The workout was a mix of karate, boxing, basketball moves, football moves, and squats. The cool down part at the end of the dvd was nice, very relaxing. This dvd definitely got my heart pumping and got my body sweating. I’m looking forward to doing this dvd again next week.
Here are our thoughts right after our work out:

Girl I’m so proud of you! And your friends! I know that you will reach your goal and go beyond it by making this a lifestyle. I know you’ll be successfull because you’re not being all dumb and just eating one carrot all day and nothing else, but you’re actually eating like a normal healthy person! You have all my support going your way. I look forward to seeing your progress. Much <3333333333
